PSWS BBQ Sendoff
The PSWS BBQ was a high-energy sendoff that brought the entire chapter together as we geared up for competition. Students came together not only to enjoy good food and great company, but to put in the final push. We packed the U-Haul with all the equipment needed for a successful PSWS. It was a true team effort, with everyone stepping in to help, reflecting the collaboration and dedication that define our chapter. More than just preparation, the BBQ captured the excitement, pride, and unity as we got ready to represent CSULB at PSWS.

Pacific Southwest Symposium Recap
The CSULB ASCE chapter gathered for a group photo at the 2026 Pacific Southwest Symposium (PSWS) to celebrate an outstanding weekend of competition, teamwork, and achievement. Our technical teams delivered impressive performances, with the Environmental Design and Construction Institute teams earning 2nd place, while the Sustainable Solutions and Prestressed Concrete teams both secured 3rd-place finishes. On the nontechnical side, our Tug of War team continued its dominance by capturing 1st place for the second consecutive year, and our Volleyball team brought home 3rd place. These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our members, making this one of our most successful PSWS experiences yet. Congratulations to everyone who competed and represented CSULB ASCE! We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

CSULB ASCE Banquet
At this year’s CSULB ASCE Annual Banquet, we came together to celebrate the incredible dedication, leadership, and achievements of our members. The evening recognized the hard work of our technical teams and provided an opportunity for the incoming 2026-2027 officers to introduce themselves and share their new roles. One of the most memorable moments of the night was a heartfelt speech from our advisor, Dr. Jeremy Redman, whose words reflected on the growth, perseverance, and community that make our chapter so special. His message truly moved us and reminded us of the impact we can have both as students and future engineers. The banquet was filled with amazing energy, laughter, and pride as we celebrated another successful year, and we are excited to see what the next chapter brings for CSULB ASCE.
