This Social Committee focuses on hosting events and activities for our ASCE members who have interests outside of civil engineering, but would still like to network with other civil engineers.
ANNUAL EVENTS
VIP/Sponsor Appreciation Event
The History & Heritage/Student Scholarship Night is an annual event for the local civil engineering community that brings together college students, early career professionals, and accomplished industry professionals from universities, private firms and public agencies across Orange County.
Every year, the ASCE Orange County Branch recognizes Civil Engineering projects and professionals for their achievements. These award and recognition are celebrated annually at the ASCE Orange County Branch Awards Dinner, selected from nominations made by the Branches, Younger Member Forum, Life Member Forum, Technical Groups, Committees, and Individual Members & Industry Professionals.
The Golf Tournament is an annual event for local ASCE Orange County members, partners, engineers, and friends to network, fundraise, and have fun playing golf! It includes food, drinks, and raffles. The all-day event is typically hosted at a local country club.
Biannually, the Social Committee hosts a VIP/Sponsor Appreciation event as a way to thank ASCE Orange County Branch Annual Sponsors for their continued support of our organization and its programs/events. The event is a Casino Night event with food, drinks, and of course, prizes!
