Bio

Judy is a fourth-year environmental engineering undergraduate student at UC Irvine’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. At UC Irvine, she is involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers as a regular member and represents Chi Epsilon as the student chapter’s President. She has also participated in undergraduate research about storm water reclamation and reuse under one of her Professors. Judy currently interns at the Public Works Department in the city where she was born and raised, Huntington Beach. There she works with the city’s water engineers to learn about complex city projects, practice using AutoCAD, and improve her networking skills. Throughout the year, she plans to continue working at the City of Huntington Beach and is planning to organize the Chi Epsilon's student chapter's trip to UC Berkeley for the annual Pacific District Conference. Once she graduates this Spring, she hopes to find employment in the public or private sector, take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, and continue to obtain her Professional Engineer License.
