REQUIREMENTS
Civil Engineering Or Construction Management Major
Sophomore, Junior or Senior Or Full-Time Graduate Student at a Southern California College or University
Current ASCE Member
A recommendation letter from an ASCE Faculty Advisor is strongly preferred

Create a 6-8 minute video presentation with a PowerPoint presentation that effectively addresses the scholarship topic/prompt.

In the 2024-2025 fiscal year, the ASCE Orange County Younger Member Forum (OC YMF) introduced two (2) new committee(s):
Community College Outreach Committee
Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Committee
Describe a proposal that outlines the ideal goals and potential future impact of each committee. How would you contribute to these committees through OC YMF post-graduation, and why do you believe they are important to the civil engineering/infrastructure community?
In your response, please include personal examples from your classes, projects, internships, leadership roles, or volunteer experiences that illustrate your commitment and contributions to advancing the goals of each committee. Ensure that these experiences highlight the significance of these initiatives within the ASCE community.

Grades – 15%
ASCE Involvement – 15%
On-Time Registration for History Heritage Student Scholarship Night - 10%
AWARD
The ASCE Orange County Branch YMF Outstanding Student Scholarship Award will be honored in the form of a check payable to the individual student and presented at the ASCE Orange County Branch History & Heritage / Student Night Dinner on November 6th, 2025.
An Award of $1,000 will be given to the selected winner.
