Civil Engineering or Survey Geomatics (Surveying Technology) as a Major
Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Full-Time Graduate Student at a Southern California college or university
Current ASCE Member. Please describe your involvement in ASCE in your application package
Proof of Registration for History and Heritage Student Scholarship Night.

Why survey monuments are important?
How survey monuments may be affected by utility companies and agencies?
What protections are currently in place for survey monuments?
How would you address the systematic destruction of survey monuments by all utility providers?
CANDIDATE EVALUATION CRITERIA
Video – 50%
Grades – 20%
ASCE Involvement – 20%
On-time Registration for History & Heritage Night – 10%
AWARD
The ASCE-OC Utility Engineering & Surveying Institute Award will be honored in the form of a cash scholarship up to $1,000.
Awards will be determined at the discretion of the review panel.
Awards to be presented at the ASCE-OC History and Heritage Night on November 7th, 2024.
