ASCE OC YMF wrapped up 2025 with its Annual Holiday Party at Avalon Irvine. Members and guests came together to celebrate the end of the year with food, activities, and opportunities to connect with one another.

The evening began with a JEDI‑themed Friendsgiving Potluck. Attendees brought dishes that represented their cultural backgrounds or reminded them of the holiday season. This created a welcoming space for members to share stories and learn more about one another through food.
A White Elephant gift exchange brought plenty of energy to the event, as participants selected or “stole” gifts in a fun and unpredictable rotation. Raffle prizes were also drawn throughout the night, giving guests additional chances to win something special.
After the main event concluded, the group continued the celebration with a bar crawl in Newport Beach. The informal outing gave attendees extra time to socialize and enjoy the coastal atmosphere.
A huge thank you to our Social Activities Chairs, Sam Saldivar and Brian Marquez, for planning, hosting, and organizing this year’s Holiday Party. Their work helped create a smooth, engaging, and memorable experience for everyone who attended.
Please keep on the lookout for more ASCE OC YMF events in 2026!
