Thornton Piersall

Thornton (Thorny) E. Piersall, PE was president of the Orange County Branch from October 1987 to September 1988. Thorny was hired by the City of Anaheim May 1, 1958 as Assistant City Engineer and rose to the rank of Public Works Executive Director, a position he held until his retirement December 30, 1980.  He was a man of great integrity who had a passion for excellence.

Thornton (Thorny) E. Piersall was born May 30, 1924 and died peacefully at his home in Anaheim on January 29, 2012.
