Iraj Poormand

Iraj Poormand, PE served as president of the Orange County Branch from October 1992 to September 1993.  Iraj Poormand was a Senior Consultant for Leighton and Associates, Inc. He had the responsibility of designing the remediaton of many serious landslides in Orange County, California. He obtained BSCE and MSCE degrees at the California State University at San Diego. Iraj was given the Engineer of the Year award in 1997 by the ASCE Orange County Branch.
