2004 - 2005

Greg Heiertz

Greg Heiertz, PE was the president of the Orange County Branch from October 2004 to September 2005.  Greg Heiertz holds BS degrees in Civil Engineering, and Biological Sciences as well as an MBA from UC Irvine.  He is a Registered Civil Engineer in California, and has been a member of ASCE for his entire career.  In addition to his participation in the Orange County Branch of ASCE as Program Committee Chair for three years, Greg is also an active member of the American Water Works Association, the Water Environment Federation, the American Public Works Association and the Orange County Water Association.  Since 1994, Greg has been the Director of Engineering and Planning for the Irvine Ranch Water District.  A twenty-two year employee of the Irvine Ranch Water District, he previously served as Assistant Director of Engineering and Planning, Assistant Director of Field Operations, and Project Engineer.  Prior to joining the water district, Greg worked in the Irvine Offices of James M Montgomery, Consulting Engineers (now Montgomery-Watson).  Greg's goals for the Branch included increasing participation of our membership at Branch events, including greater involvement of younger members, and increasing networking opportunities with other technical and professional organizations.  Greg also served as the Los Angeles Section president.
