Darren Adrian

Darren Adrian, PE was the president of the Orange County Branch from October 2007 to September 2008.  Darren Adrian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University of Pomona. He began his membership with ASCE as a student member while in college and was the Professional Practices Committee Chairman for the ASCE Orange County Branch. Darren also has involvement with APWA, ITE, AREMA and ASEE.  Additionally, he has contributed to the development of younger engineers over the last eight years as a Part-Time Lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department at Cal Poly Pomona.  Darren's professional experience is in civil engineering related to planning, design and construction management of transportation, commercial, industrial, institutional, municipal, and military facilities. He has worked with numerous clients in the public and private sectors within Southern and Northern California, Utah and Florida.  He is a registered professional engineer in California and Utah and currently works for Kimley Horn & Associates in Santa Ana.


Darren's goals as president of the ASCE Orange County Branch included; ensuring the Branch addresses current issues, concerns, and business development, as well as the distribution of valuable technical and managerial knowledge, continuing the Branch's vital efforts to increase public awareness of infrastructure needs, and elevating the status of the Civil Engineer within our society through active public involvement and effective public education.
