Allen Yourman

Allen M. Yourman, Jr.,  P.E., G.E is a Principal with Diaz-Yourman & Associates, a geotechnical consulting firm located in Santa Ana. California.  Most of his professional practice has been centered in southern California with projects In the middle east. far east. and Africa.  He has been active in ASCE since he was an officer In the UCLA. ASCE student chapter.  Recently he chaired the ASCE Orange County Branch professional Practices Committee.  Committee actions during his tenure included publishing the Plan Preparation and Plan Check Guidelines and assisting to change state law to allow post-1982 Civil Engineers to sign plans as city representatives.  Mr. Yourman. Jr. obtained his B.S. in Engineering (1976) and his M.S. In Soil Mechanics (1978) at UCLA.  He received an M.B.A. from Pepperdlne University in 1984.
