Learn about ASCE 38-22
Delays. Change orders. Frustration. Injury. Death. Utility conflicts occur every day and most are preventable. Learn how ASCE 38-22 addresses underground utility engineering and the way utilities are located and represented on plans. Co-author of ASCE 38-22, Jim Anspach, will discuss how communities, developers, and the civil engineering industry can save money while protect vital infrastructure by implementing this critical standard.
Jim Anspach is a Distinguished Member of ASCE and was elected to the National Academy of Construction in 2020. After a 40 year career pioneering the profession of Utility Engineering, Jim is now a professor of Civil and Construction Engineering at Iowa State University.
