Presentation Abstract Jet grouting is a versatile and powerful ground improvement technique for managing complex subsurface risks in constrained urban environments. This presentation provides a comprehensive overview of jet grouting as applied to deep excavations, bottom seals, shafts, and excavation support systems, with a particular focus on achieving low permeability and reliable structural performance in challenging ground and groundwater conditions. Additionally, we will touch on evaluation, risk management, and best practices for quality control. Lastly, we will present a series of case studies and applications to illustrate the successful use of jet grouting in various situations.
