Each year, ASCE Orange County awards over $20,000 worth of scholarships to rising civil engineering student leaders across Southern California. Recipients are announced at the Annual History & Heritage/ Student Scholarship Night.

GARY A. GILBERT ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP
The Achievement Scholarship is the highest scholarship recognition the ASCE Orange County Branch offers each year. It recognizes rising civil engineering student leaders who demonstrate academic excellence, industry involvement, and commitment to serving others. In memory of Gary A. Gilbert's legacy of service to the engineering community, the First Place Achievement Scholarship Award was named in his honor.

For students aspiring to transform the future of transportation by improving the mobility and safety of communities.
Geotechnical Institute
Scholarship
For students aspiring to make an impact by studying natural geological materials' behavior in engineered systems.
Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute Scholarship
For students aspiring to make a difference within the utility, pipeline, surveying, and geomatics industry.
YMF OUTSTANDING STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
A scholarship recognition awarded by the ASCE Orange County Younger Member Forum to student leaders who exemplify continuous leadership involvement, community service, and commitment to grow within ASCE at the student chapter level and beyond.
THOMAS A. BROZ HISTORY & HERITAGE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
In memory of Thomas A. Broz' commitment in honoring the history and heritage of the civil engineering profession, this memorial scholarship recognizes a student who will honor the past and represent the future legacy of industry leaders, projects, and programs in Orange County.
