The CR&R Transfer Station in Orange County transforms waste into reusable resources on a steep, geotechnically challenging terrain. GMU designed a 26-ft tall tieback-supported retaining wall and upslope reaction blocks to stabilize the site while protecting an essential high-pressure Kinder Morgan fuel line. This required rigorous structural design, geotechnical analysis, and construction sequencing by GMU to ensure safety and long-term stability.
