Outstanding ASCE Faculty Advisor

Marwan Youssef, PhD, PE, is a Lecturer at the California State University, Long Beach, in the College of Engineering, CECEM. He is also the Faculty Advisor for the CSULB ASCE Steel Bridge team and holds the title of Professor of Practice - Beavers Endowed Chair. Before joining CSULB, Dr. Youssef served as the City Manager for the City of Westminster. Prior to that role, he worked for over 15 years as the Public Works Director and City Engineer, having started his career as an Associate Civil Engineer. He began his civil service career with the City of La Habra.
