Outstanding Sustainable Engineering Project

The La Palma Park Way Promenade transforms underused streets into a safe, green gateway to La Palma Park. Funded through the Clean California program, the project adds walkways, crosswalks, bike access, shade trees, stormwater capture, and public art, creating a vibrant community space for residents. The project improves daily life for residents by creating safer walking and biking routes, adding shade trees, and expanding access to recreation and community services. Green infrastructure and public art help create a cooler, cleaner, and more welcoming neighborhood space.
