Outstanding Transportation Project

Fairview Road Pedestrian, Bike, and Transit Stop Improvements implemented innovative pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements by repurposing excess motorist travel lanes in a high-density residential neighborhood with an elementary school, reconstructing curb ramps, upgrades to Class IV Cycle Tracks, a new Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon, the first City bike signal, pedestrian refuge islands, and a new high-visibility crosswalks.
