Philip Wong, PE

Philip H. Wong currently resides in Anaheim, California.  He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Wong is currently employed at the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts and has previously worked at Bechtel Power Corporation.  Mr. Wong considers being the Design Engineer at the Containment Building Group his most gratifying position.

His most significant career achievement was finishing a power plant project from ground breaking through to pre-operational testing covering a span of over twelve (12) years.  This also included site development to final certification of the containment building and main stream support building with the NRC Design and Construction Review Panel.  Another significant career achievement is directing the structural design and doubling of the secondary treatment capacity of the Sanitation Districts’ Joint Water Pollution Control Plant.

Mr. Wong considers his most significant lifetime achievement to be the celebration of his 34 years of marriage and to be able to continue to do so.
