Siamak Jafroudi

Siamak Jafroudi, PhD, GE, D.GE, F. ASFE was born in Tehran and currently lives in Aliso Viejo, California. He received an MS from Tehran University and UC Davis, and a PhD from UC Davis. His field of specialty is Geotechnical Engineering.
We wish to thank him for his service in the Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant.
Dr. Jafroudi has been employed at Woodward Clyde Consultants, The Earth Technology Corporation and is currently the President of Petra Geosciences, Inc., which he considers his most gratifying position. His most significant career achievement was having been chosen to become the Consultant of Choice for many projects involving complex subsurface conditions where the initial efforts were somewhat failed and required fresh thinking and innovating approaches for making the project work.

UC Irvine Certificate in Management Practice for Engineering and Technical Professional
UC Davis Certificate in Design and Analysis for Earthquakes, Lecturer in USC and UCLA
Dr. Jafroudi considers his most significant lifetime achievement being the trusted consultant for both buyer and seller on a $150,000,000 land transaction.
He has served as ASCE President/Chairman of Los Angeles Section, Geotechnical-Technical Group and President of CalGeo (California Geotechnical Engineers Association).
Dr. Jafroudi is married to Megan and they have three children, Andrew, Matthew and Michael.
