Branch News - November 2013 Meeting

The ASCE Orange County Branch enjoyed another successful History & Heritage and Student Fellowship Night at the Center Club in Costa Mesa, CA on Thursday, November 21, 2013. Over 110 attendees were present, including Branch members, their guests, and Student Chapter members from UCI, CSUF and CSULB. This was an eventful meeting with the 2013-2014 ASCE OC Branch Board Members being installed; scholarships announced; and a keynote presentation by Richard Atwater, Executive Director, Southern Calfornia Water Committee.

The ASCE Orange County Branch invites you and your organization to nominate candidates and projects that you believe should be recognized for their exceptional professional engineering performance and qualities. Nomination forms for 2013 are now available online. Please nominate your project or candidate for one of the awards. There is no limit to the number of nominations that can be submitted. All submissions are due by Friday, January 3, 2014 (date was extended from December 27, 2013). New award types recently added for Outstanding Civil Engineer in Community Service and Outstanding Civil Engineer in Legislative Activities.
