ASCE OC Transportation Technical Group Seeks New Members
By: Ted Rigoni, PE, ASCE OC TTG Vice President
If you have taken a cruise to Catalina Island, explored one of the many trails within the OC on your mountain bike, been stuck in traffic on our area freeways, taken a romantic trip to San Diego on the Coastal Metro liner, survived an impromptu weekend trip to Las Vegas on Southwest, or just like to stroll on the Balboa boardwalk, and you have an interest in transportation, we want you! The ASCE OC Transportation Technical Group (TTG) would like your voice to be added to our bi-monthly Board meetings, as we plan our luncheon presentations and discuss other topics that support all modes of getting from here to there. We are a group of engineers who can think from both sides of our brain, and if you would like to experience what a liberating condition that can be, our next meeting is Tuesday, April 8th, at 5:30 pm at RBF Consulting, a Company of Michael Baker International, in Irvine. We provide lively discussion, dinner, and an opportunity to network. So whether you work in the private sector, a public agency, or are an aspiring student soon to graduate, your presence and ideas are welcome. Please contact/ RSVP Ms. Julia Wu, ASCE OC TTG President for more information. Julia can be reached at julia.wu@polb.com, or at 562 283-7882.
Hope to see you at our next meeting!
