Request for Volunteers

It’s that time of year again, McPherson’s Annual Science Fair. If you can carve time out of your busy schedule and are willing to join Orange County Science and Engineering Fair (OCSEF) as a judge, they will be so happy. The event is a highlight for the students at McPherson as they have worked very hard in putting their projects together. Being a Professional Member of the Community is very exciting and allows the students the opportunity to showcase their work, practice oral communication, and defend their experiment.

The Science Fair dates are Monday and Tuesday, February 1 and 2. Three shifts are available: 8:15-10:30, 10:30-12:30, 1:15-3:00. As usual, Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be served in order to thank you for your help.

Last year McPherson had several County Winners and one student even placed 3rd at the State. We are thankful to ASCE members taking out time to devote themselves to young people.
