ASCE OC YMF - Happy Hour and General Meeting

The January General Meeting was held Tuesday, January 13 at The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub and Restaurant in the Tustin District. This was the first event organized by the new Internal Activities Co-Chair, Amanda Heise. Over 30 people attended and the experience ranged from student, junior/mid-level, and senior. There was even a teacher in attendance hoping to get more information about the civil engineering career to pass onto his students. Everyone enjoyed drinks and appetizers while talking about work, involvements, and future events. Some even discussed the 2015 Western Regional Younger Member Council taking place this February in Seattle where several members from the OC YMF will attend. General meetings are held every month and are a great way to relax after work and network with other engineers.
