The Week of Welcome event aims to allow clubs and organizations, including ASCE, to recruit new members and showcase their offerings. ASCE offers opportunities for students to participate in technical competitions such as transportation and concrete canoe. The first meeting of the Fall Semester for ASCE took place on September 7, 2023, with an introduction to ASCE and icebreakers. Additionally, there will be an OC YMF Game Night on September 29, 2023, for ​ASCE chapters at CSUF, UCI, and CSULB to come together for a fun time.

The purpose of this event is for clubs and organizations to recruit new members and let the students know what each club has to offer, including ASCE.

This is a great opportunity for students to start their civil engineering journey with ASCE where they can participate and get first hand experience with technical competitions that happen annually (PSWS) such as transportation, concrete canoe, timber strong and so much more.
