ASCE CSULB
Long Beach Airport Tour
By Lucinda Rubio & Erin Santiago | ASCE CSULB Webmaster & Co-President
ASCE CSULB had the honor of participating in a tour of the Long Beach airport. Students could tour the behind-the-scenes of the construction of the new baggage claim building and the renovation of the historic terminal. The volunteers and engineers at the Long Beach Airport enlightened our students about the project's engineering, construction, and aviation practices. After this experience, we gained a better understanding of aviation engineering and learned more about the history of our community. Thank you to the city of Long Beach for providing us with this opportunity!
