The Orange County Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) released the 2016 Report Card for Orange County’s Infrastructure on July 21st, 2016. The report included an evaluation of Orange County’s aviation, electrical power, flood control, ground transportation, natural gas infrastructure, oil infrastructure, parks, recreation & environment, school facilities, surface water quality, solid waste, wastewater, and water quality.
Infrastructure has a direct impact on our lives every day—from the water we drink, to the schools our children attend and to the roads and rails we travel. Infrastructure is vital to our economy, security, recreation, and safety.
