Finding the Words
I presume that if you’re reading this article, you probably became an engineer because your affinity for the language arts was not as strong as for math and sciences (assuming you even liked language arts at all). While I personally enjoy writing and have been told that I am not terrible at it, I still find writing articles like the ones for this column to be challenging. Pathways Academy 2020
Established in 2019, the ASCE OC Pathways Academy is a three-part summer program that introduces university students to the various civil engineering disciplines through our "Engineering Your Future" Speaker Series Event, Company Tour Seminars, and valuable professional networking opportunities. The goal of this program is to bridge the gap between academia and industry by encouraging students to explore all their potential career options. Class of 2020 Virtual Graduation
On June 20, 2020, the ASCE OC University Outreach Committee had the honor of hosting a Virtual Graduation for the students of CSUF, CSULB, and UCI. The Graduation was held on Zoom and had 50 attendees. More »
