Comments:

Beyond his outstanding academic, non-profit, and professional contributions, I have been impressed by Ziad’s dedication to our profession and his drive to encourage younger engineers advance in their careers.
As I attended one of my first client meeting on MS4 Compliance in South Orange County, I remember Ziad welcomed me and incentivized me to participate to the discussion. Throughout the years, he has mentored me but also other engineers on career and personal challenges.

When I attend a conference, be ASCE or CASQA, Ziad always asks the right questions that help other attendees better understand the challenges set forth by a new regulation, program, or directive.
For those reasons, I am honored to recommend Ziad for the Civil Engineer of the Year in the Public Sector.
