Thomas A. Broz, P.E., S.E., F.ASCE Member Since 1972
Thomas A. Broz was born in Chicago, Illinois and currently resides in Orange, California. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1972, and his MSCE from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1973. His fields of specialty include Structural Engineering, Project Management and Construction Management.
Mr. Broz is currently employed at VA Consulting as the Vice President of Program and Construction Management Services. His past employers include Bechtel Corporation, Moffat & Nichol Engineers, DMJM (now AECOM), ABS Consulting and Willdan Engineering. His most gratifying positions was working on public projects and the renovation of bridges and buildings the last 14 years. His most significant career achievement was being the recipient of the Civil Engineering Alumni Association of the Young Alumnus Achievement Award (1984) and the Distinguished Alumnus Award (2014) from the University of Illinois.
