Agency Implementation of Sustainable Infrastructure Seminar

The Sustainability Committee for ASCE-OC organized Agency Implementation of Sustainable Infrastructure Seminar on Friday, July 11, 2014. More than 30 professionals and 3 civil engineering students attended the seminar. The seminar was conducted at Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD) facility. IRWD not only provided the Community Meeting Room to conduct the workshop, they also provided refreshments and IT support during the seminar. We would like to thank IRWD for their contribution to educate the civil engineering professionals on ways different agencies are implementing sustainable infrastructure. Some suggestions and comments made during the panel discussion at the end of the workshop ranged from utilizing Envision in the workplace to taking the initiative to improve existing sustainability tools.
