ASCE OC Branch Annual Awards Dinner Banquet
By: Kathereen Shinkai, P.E.

On Tuesday, February 21st at the Center Club in Costa Mesa, over 160 members and guests joined together to celebrate the annual ASCE Orange County Branch Awards Dinner Banquet. This was a new venue for us and we were all excited to host our event here. We all enjoyed a wonderful night recognizing all the individual award winners and project winners as well as reuniting with some friends we haven’t seen in a while. This year’s awardees were selected from many worthy nominations presented by ASCE members and considered by the Awards and Nominations Committee. The Committee was comprised of Past Presidents of the Orange County Branch. They were Randy Berry, Greg Heiertz, John Hogan, Ziad Mazboudi, and myself. I would like to thank Josue Vaglienty for helping out with the Master of Ceremonies duties on the night as well. Most of all, I would like to thank every person that attended the event and also a big thank you to all the sponsors for their support.
