ASCE OC Mentorship Program
2020-2021 Virtual Game Night
By Lydia Chun, EIT | Mentorship Co-Chair
On February 11, 2021, the ASCE OC Mentorship Program kicked off 2021 strong with some friendly competition at Virtual Game Night - Round 2.
The game night began with a round of Code Names where participants were randomly separated into 2 teams. A “spymaster” was designated on each team who had to give one word hints to their teammates to connect various different words on a board. Each team had to collaborate with one another to ultimately reach a single conclusion.
The next game was Skribbl.io where individual participants had to showcase their artistic talent. Each artist had to select a word out of 3 randomly generated words for their drawing challenge. The words ranged from characters such as Spongebob Squarepants and Pikachu to activities like skateboarding. The other contestants had to try and guess the word as quickly as possible for the maximum amount of points.
