By Adeleine J. Tran, P.E. | G-I First Director

On February 6, ASCE Orange County Geo-Institute (G-I) kicked off our first event of the year with a successful continuing education seminar on “Geotechnical Performance-Based Design.” The half-day event is part of our annual tradition of bringing an immersive, technical-focused seminar to our geotechnical community. Co-hosted with the Professional Development Committee, our event was well supported by over 70 professionals and students. Many thanks to distinguished speakers Dr. Marshall Lew, Prof. Kevin Franke, and Prof. Shideh Dashti for sharing their time and knowledge!

Special shout-out to our 7 event sponsors for their continuous support: KELLERGMU GeotechnicalGroup DeltaWestern Ground Improvement, Gregg DrillingTenCate Mirafi, and Project X Corrosion.
