ASCE OC Mentorship Program
First Day of Summer Happy Hour
By JR Lagade, PE | Mentorship Committee Co-Chair
On June 22, technically the second day of summer, the ASCE OC Mentorship Program hosted another informal happy hour with current, past, and hopeful Mentorship Program participants. An intimate gathering of eight engineers and one beautiful baby enjoyed the start of summer at Brewery X in Anaheim. While stocks and crypto may be crashing, the engineering industry was and is still in full swing, and it was reassuring to see that our hard-working engineers were taking a break to meet in person over some cervezas and pizza. Stories were shared, updates were made, and a baby enjoyed perhaps her first steps into the engineering world!
