Picnic with CSUF and UCI

By Mia Castillo l ASCE CSULB Vice-President 2022-2023

On Saturday, April 16th, the ASCE CSULB collaborated with the CSUF and UCI Student Chapters for a BBQ and picnic at Heritage Park in Cerritos, CA to connect and meet fellow ASCE student members! Attendees had a great time playing volleyball and having some good food and snacks with the other ASCE OC schools. Since the event was a potluck, a highlight of the event was the "Lechon," which is a roasted pig and is one of the most popular Filipino dishes.

This past school year, our Student Chapter had a chance to connect with other ASCE Student Chapters and meet other student members at events like History & Heritage Night and the Pacific Southwest Symposium 2022 at UC San Diego.

We are looking forward to participating and collaborating in more events with our fellow ASCE OC schools! If you have any questions regarding our upcoming and future events, please feel free to contact our ASCE CSULB Student Chapter Co-Presidents at [email protected]. We hope to see you at our next event!
