Civil Engineering & Construction Engineering Management Alumni Reunion

By Kyra Tan | ASCE CSULB Co-President 2021-2022

On Friday, April 22nd, the ASCE CSULB Student Chapter collaborated with the CSULB Department of Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Management (CECEM) to host an Alumni reunion event on campus! This is to assist in the department's efforts to stay connected with CECEM alumni and introduce current students to professionals as they embark on their journey into the industry.

Faculty advisors, Dr. Jeremy Redman and Dr. Lisa Star, were present at the event to connect alumni from various years with the students. OC YMF ASCE Professionals who were CSULB CECEM Alumni, including Nathaniel Kapongo and Marionne Lapitan, were also present at the reunion.

As part of their contribution to the Alumni reunion, ASCE CSULB student members showed off their Pacific Southwest Symposium (PSWS) 2022 technical projects, including the standout Timber-Strong Design-Build project that won 2nd Place in the competition.

We look forward to hosting this event again next year. We're excited to see our alumni family grow more each year!

If you or someone you know is a CECEM alumnus of CSULB, please email [email protected] to join the Alumni email list.
