I Keep Hearing About California's Water Supply Problem - What is it Exactly?


Southern California continues to face significant water supply challenges in 2010 and beyond. As summer temperatures rise, it’s critical that residents and businesses continue to conserve water. Thanks to these efforts and Southern Californians’ commitment to water conservation, the region’s water reserves have improved.

Randall D. Neudeck is the Bay-Delta Imported Water Supply Program Manager for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. He represents Metropolitan on water quality, water supply and environmental issues related to Southern California's imported water supply from the San Francisco Bay-Delta watershed. Randall holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Southern California and is a registered professional engineer. He is the president of the Granada Hills South Neighborhood Council, and a member of the board of the Valley Industry and Commerce Association, Granada Hills Chamber of Commerce, Valley Vote, and numerous other business and community organizations. Randall and his family reside in Granada Hills, California.

TIME: 11:30 a.m. – Social 12:00 p.m. – Lunch 12:30 – 1:10 p.m. – Program

COST: Members $30 prepaid; $40 at the door (with reservations); Non-members and walk-ups $40; Students $20

MEAL: London Broil Bourguignonne. Vegetarian meal available.

PARKING: Parking included in luncheon cost.
