In Orange County, in the Cities of Anaheim and Yorba Linda, from SR-55-91 Separation to SR-241/91 Separation, Post Mile 9.1/15.1
- Project Description:
Add one general purpose lane in each direction. Construct 7800’ sound wall. Widen two bridges.
- Project Justification:
Caltrans committed and delivered this CMIA project in accordance with the accountability agreement. This project greatly improves the corridor through-put to and from Riverside County. Daily Vehicle Hours of Delay Saved:31,946 hours. Daily Peak Hour Person-Minutes Saved: 2,544,065 minitues.
- Special Circumstances:
Pritially funded by Proposition 1B Bond through Corridor Mobility Improvement Account (CMIA). Also funded by OCTA through Regional Improvement Program (RIP). Designed by Caltrans District 12.

Timely design delivery enables the project to capture voter approved bond fund to construct this much needed corridor improvement project.
- Suggested Award Summary:
This project is part of the SR-91 Corridor Improvement/Implementation Plan. The accountability act of the voter approved bond fund requires a project to be delivered within specified timeframe to qualify for the fund. Caltrans team responded to the challenge and delivered the project in time and successfully captured the available funding.
