Comments:

Natalie has not only been a remarkable engineer in her career but also a great leader and visionary.  She was a key part of the transformation raw land in the east end of Anaheim to the Anaheim Hills of today, she transformed the blighted streets around Disneyland to the Anaheim Resort of today, and now she will be transforming transit in Orange County with the construction of ARTIC and the Anaheim Rapid Transit streetcar for tomorrow.

Orange County Transportation Authority, Technical Steering Committee Vice Chair
City Engineers Association of Orange County, Member and Past President
2012 International Congress Co-Chair, American Public Works Association,
American Public Works Association, Member
American Society of Civil Engineers, Member

Civic:

Natalie’s civic contributions have been through her continued annual support of promoting Public Works and Engineering in the community.  She uses National Public Works Week and the Anaheim 4th of July Parade to bring Public Works to the community through outreach, education and activities that instill pride in the residents and staff that live in the community.  She partners with organizations such as the Rotary Club, the School Districts and Faith Based Groups to enhance the quality of life in Anaheim though short term and long range planning to achieve the vision in Anaheim.  She has been a long time employee and resident of Anaheim and uses this to remain close to the community and engage issues promptly.  Natalie is also a great supporter of our local charities not only though personal monetary and time contribution, but also through personal sacrifice.  She recently took the “Ice Bucket Challenge” in what many have called the longest pour they have ever seen.  The video is available upon request!
