The Orange County Branch Student Activities Committee
The Student Activities Committee consists of present and past practitioner advisors from University of California, Irvine, California State
University, Long Beach, and California State University, Fullerton. The objective of the committee is to promote Student Chapter interaction with industry, professionals, and ASCE Orange County
Branch and Los Angeles Section. We assist Student Chapter in administrative self management and provide a consistent format for incentive program review. Student Chapters are rewarded for
achievements in both professional and academic environments. We promote Student Chapter membership retention in ASCE Student Chapter and conversion to the ASCE National Membership.
In addition we assist the Orange County Branch with the Student Night in November and advertise the branch’s scholarship, which is awarded
at the Los Angeles Section Younger Member Forum’s Student Night in the Spring.
